NEW VIDEO IN ONE WEEK!!!
Hey friends, sorry it's been a minute since the last update. I haven't had the chance to tell you about my next video, which is coming out next week!
But first, a quick life update: I moved across the country! I'm living in Utah now, which is my home state, where my family lives and all. So life has been hectic! But... I'm (almost) settled and have been busy with my next project.
My new video is a mash of different things: part of it is storytime, part of it is about character design and showcasing my design process. Basically, the video is all about a comic strip I came up with when I was a kid, called Jed and Kirby. (I briefly mentioned it in my software video, but this video will go deeper!) The comic is about a single man named Jed who lives alone with his dog, Kirby. Hilarity ensues. (It's basically Garfield.)
Being back home, and going through so much of my old art, I'm able to really dive into these characters I created that were such a central part of me when growing up.
Also in the video, I'm giving the characters a redesign! Since my art has obviously improved a lot since I drew the comic back in 2010, I wanted to see how I might draw Jed and Kirby now. So look forward to that!
The video should be done soon, and I plan to upload it to Patreon as soon as next Monday.
