Hey everyone!
While planning new mechanics for v0.06, I came up with something I’m really excited about: BulkMart, an in-game supermarket where you can buy supplies for your daily life at Halden.
This update also introduces two new stats: Hunger and Hygiene. They slowly decrease over time, but don’t worry, I've tuned them so they won’t mess with the game’s pacing. You’ll just need to cook and shower every now and then to stay in good shape.
BulkMart will be the place to grab what you need. Healthy food costs a bit more but fills you up better than junk food, and using soap and shampoo gives you higher hygiene than just rinsing off with water.
In the future, if you enjoy this system, I plan to add recipes so the MC can learn how to cook different dishes by combining ingredients.
I know this isn’t directly tied to the main story, but I want to make the world feel more alive and interactive, with more things to do between story events.
