Hello everyone, I need to tell you something new :>
Okay, in case I have updates, I’m writing this on the 13th of July, after applying for the Viewer Ads for Webtoon a month ago.
For those who don’t know what are Viewer ads, they’re little image/picture ads that appear at the end of Canvas episodes, it’s a way for creators to get a small extra income. Now I’m very happy about this, since it helps me work on EYF more quickly and it allows you to support me for free, since I know not everyone can subscribe to paid content (understandably so !)
The small issue is some nitpicking, specially when it comes to Webtoon’s guidelines. Some episodes will have to be lightly censored.
Example : for the revised version of episode 30, (the one I updated today for Webtoon) I had to remove the saliva of Vanya and Nael’s kiss.
But some heavier episodes, like episode 16 which is the episode where Alek acts like a disgusting prick with Vanya, had to have the non-consensual kissing removed
(which is not a nitpick this time, I can definitely see that this can’t be allowed, very reasonably,
It’s definitely is a tougher case compared to "explicit sexual dialogues", like episode 55, that I also changed a little bit).
Most of the time, you won’t notice the change except when it’s very graphic-ish (like episode 16 aka the Alek and Vanya’s scenes), however I thought it was a little unfair to leave you with… kind of incomplete episodes when you had access to the actual ones previously.
So no worries !
Whenever Webtoon censors things that are not actual smut scenes, you can still check out this drive folder to read the original uncensored version for free !
