Two cities, as close as they are different, live under opposite fates. One suffers from an ancient curse—its fields lie barren, its people are desperate, and the land itself seems to have given up on bearing fruit. The other thrives under an ancestral blessing; everything within it prospers with almost magical abundance.
No one remembers when the division began, but its strangest manifestation lies in the only place where both lands come near: a natural spiral-shaped path. There, the terrain twists and turns, intertwining without ever touching. Scarcity and abundance dance in tense balance, never crossing an invisible line no one dares to break.
The adventurers have been summoned by the king of the desolate city. He suspects that the wealth of the neighboring land is no mere coincidence, but the result of some hidden power that has stolen the prosperity that should have been shared. He believes the balance has been tampered with—that what one city has gained, the other has lost.
The mission is clear: investigate this point of convergence, uncover the truth behind the king’s suspicions… and, if possible, restore the balance that once existed between the two lands.
