Dearest readers, it's time.
Build 14 is one of my greatest achievements as a writer. It's the result of years of preparation and work from the team, and I feel confident we have made something truly unique and incredible. It is one of our most ambitious releases to date, sitting at approximately 70,000 words — a size that by itself is already prodigious, but what takes the cake is its complexity and depth.
With this update Minotaur Hotel, at last, has the much-anticipated sex scene with Asterion. We wrote something extremely unique and in-line with the expectations we have set for the game. As I have described at length in our previous Progress Reports, this scene will provide players with an extensive list of options to customize and tailor things to their particular preferences, all while remaining true to our creative vision and the game's themes.
Speaking a bit more personally for a moment... This build is particularly meaningful to me as it has been a year since I promised that Minotaur Hotel would get finished no matter what. A year since I made the life-changing decision to dedicate myself entirely to this task, which set me in the path of putting together a game development studio. A year since I've started working with this growing and incredibly talented team of professionals from all around the globe. A year since our lives became entwined, bound together in cooperation and interdependence.
For this is a game made by real people — every beautiful thing, every written sentence, illustration, music track, sound effect and line of code was made by human hands. We all came together for this.
Of course, the game is not yet done. There is much work to do. But finishing Chapter 20 is a massive milestone for our production, and I look forward for each and every day ahead of us. Minotaur Hotel will be finished and it'll be wonderful.
