I want to clear a few things up about how I work, why my devlogs often mention small delays, and what’s actually happening behind the scenes.
They aren’t really “delays” in the traditional sense — usually just a few days — but since they’ve been consistent, I think it’s fair to explain why.
First, exams. 📚I’m about to start my AS IAL exams, running from January 8th to January 16th.Right now I’m juggling work, studying, and game development, and with the time I have available, this is the amount of content I’ve realistically been able to produce per update.
At the moment, my main priority is getting through these exams.I honestly haven’t even thought about the next update yet — I’m just focused on preparing.I’ll still do small things here and there when I can, but game development is going to be the lowest priority for a bit.I’m sorry about that 😞
Second, I’m not actually a programmer.I don’t have a formal coding background — I only know the basics.AI has helped me a lot during development, but that’s also why the early updates were messy, why replays were required, and why bug fixing sometimes takes longer than it should.
I am getting better, slowly but surely. And while I have ideas that are way out of my league right now, I’m confident that I can polish the UI and overall experience to a level that’s better than most games out there.
Third, my hardware situation. 💻I’m still working on a 6-year-old laptop that can’t do local AI image generation at all. That means I’m fully dependent on web services.
I currently use Tensor Art, and it’s been good — but it doesn’t give me full control.Especially for things like two characters in one shot, consistency, or more complex scenes.
Thanks to your support, I’ve already bought most of the parts for a new PC — motherboard, CPU, RAM, and casing. The only things left are the GPU and peripherals.I had to buy parts early last month due to RAM shortages, since cheaper RAM was only being sold in full systems.
Once the PC is complete, I’ll be able to level up image generation properly and give you better, hotter, and more controlled visuals. 🔥
That’s really all I wanted to say.
I can’t give an exact date for the next update right now.I’ll post another devlog around the 13th, and at that point I’ll be able to give a more realistic timeframe.
Thank you for the patience, the support, and for sticking with this project while I figure things out.It genuinely means a lot. ❤️
