There isn’t a person in the office who doesn’t know him.Even if they work in a different department, even if they don’t know his name, one passing glance in the hallway is enough to remember him.
Broad shoulders that feel far too big for the building.A white shirt that always seems one step away from giving up.A black tie, neatly tightened.And a face that looks just a little displeased.
He looks intimidating.Hard to approach.Probably angry.
But in truth, he is more sincere than anyone.
He silently carries boxes of copy paper.He notices broken chairs before anyone else does.He quietly puts meeting rooms back in order when everyone else leaves them behind.And once he accepts a task, he sees it through to the end.
Kurose Takeshi is not a flashy man.He doesn’t offer sweet words.He rarely smiles.
And yet, once you notice him,you may find yourself wondering whether he came to work today.

社内で彼を知らない人はいない。部署が違っても、名前を知らなくても、廊下ですれ違えば必ず覚えてしまう。
大きすぎる肩幅。いつも限界みたいな白シャツ。きっちり締められた黒いネクタイ。そして、少しだけ不機嫌そうな顔。
怖そうに見える。話しかけにくい。たぶん怒っている。
でも実際の彼は、誰よりも律儀だ。
コピー用紙の段ボールを黙って運ぶ。壊れかけた椅子に気づく。誰も片付けない会議室を、何も言わずに元へ戻す。頼まれたことは、最後まで投げ出さない。
黒瀬剛司は、派手な男ではない。甘い言葉も言わない。笑顔も少ない。
それでも一度気づいてしまうと、彼が今日も出社しているか、少しだけ気になってしまう。
