Okay, this time I think I'll be able to get back to my comics.
Yes, my mother had another problem, but this time much more serious. She couldn't get out of bed for almost a month and was starting to completely lose her mind.
I was really scared, thinking I might have to put her in a nursing home.
Fortunately, everything went back to normal as quickly as the problem had appeared.
It's possible that the death of her second sister at the end of 2025 had a greater impact than she let on.
Because 2025 was a pretty tough year for the family.
First, her sister Anne gradually lost her memory, and my cousin eventually had to put her in a nursing home, and then at the end of the year, her second sister passed away.
So, her older brother is still in the family; he's doing well, fingers crossed.
Her older sister, who's been in a nursing home for a few months, and the mother of my closest cousin.
And my mother, 89 years old, turning 90 this year.
But you'll understand that it was impossible for me to do anything. I had to be with her almost all the time.
But apparently, there are no more family problems on the horizon.
So, starting Friday morning, I'm going back to work on episode 54 of the series "Coastal Connections." Hoping that this time, no more serious problems will interrupt my work.
