I know the mod is big, and at first glance it can seem overwhelming, but it's actually very easy to navigate if you go about it the right way.
📌 The first thing you should do after downloading the mod is read this guide.
Remember, the mod contains plenty of easy-to-follow guides, along with more detailed PDFs and reference documents throughout. Everything is designed to help you understand the settings, build your gameplay correctly, and get the most out of the experience.
📌 HOW TO APPROACH MY MOD

ℹ️ If you’ve never used mods at all before, you will need to read the INSTALLATION GUIDE pdf first. Come back here once you’ve got things installed.
✅ STEP 1: READ THE ESSENTIAL SETTINGS PDF
Before doing anything else, make sure you read the ESSENTIAL SETTINGS PDF inside the download.
📌 These settings are extremely important and act as the foundation for how the gameplay behaves.
The ESSENTIAL SETTINGS document explains the key gameplay setup, CPU behaviour settings, and slider guidance that are important for getting the correct experience with the mod.
Taking a few minutes to read this will help ensure you start the mod correctly and avoid confusion later.🛑 Don’t skip the CPU SET-UP BASES section of ESSENTIAL SETTINGS! I recommend the 🟥 ATTACKING set-up base.
✅ STEP 2: PICK ONE STANDALONE
The Standalone is the foundation of the entire mod.
Every element of the gameplay has been worked on inside a standalone You can explore the CURRENT FEATURES OVERVIEW pdf for a basic breakdown of what’s included.
⛔ The standalone is plug-and-play: simply pick ONE standalone start playing - no options, nothing extra.
Every standalone shares the same core gameplay features and each release the standalone evolves.
The key difference between different standalones is the MOVEMENT BALANCE (and its matching passing speed).
We all see 'realistic' differently, so I have created a huge number of standalones, each with a different movement balance and feel. This allows you to choose the standalone that suits you best.
If the standalone you select is too fast, go to something slower. If it’s too slow, move to something faster. Read the STANDALONE DIFFERENCES pdf for a breakdown on the different movement balances.Again, choose ONE standalone as your foundation.
💡I recommend beginning with the NATURAL DYNAMIC+ standalone. This is one of my favourite standalones and its movement base might just be the best of the entire mod.
✅ STEP 3: DO YOU WANT TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS? IF SO, USE OPTIONS (FULL GAMEPLAY PACKAGE)
⚠️ IMPORTANT: OPTIONS MUST SIT BELOW THE STANDALONE IN YOUR MOD MANAGER. THEY OVERRIDE PARTS OF THE STANDALONE, SO THEY MUST BE GIVEN PRIORITY.---
The OPTIONS allow you to adjust the standalone experience.
Think of your standalone as the foundation. If you enjoy it as it is, you don't need to change a thing. However, if you want to tweak or refine a particular aspect of the gameplay, that's where the options come in.
Please don't get it confused - you do not need to stack an option for everything to get a full experience. The options allow you to tweak the standalone experience to better suit you. Balance is everything - and less is often more..
🛑 The worst thing I see people doing is building these massively elaborate combinations quickly and for no reason. That is the wrong approach, trust me. I cannot stress this enough! Follow the information in this guide or you will overcomplicate it.
Options exist so you can fine-tune the gameplay experience to suit your taste - but you should only explore them after becoming familiar with your standalone and understanding how the standalone behaves.****
If you want to use options:
✅ Explore the option files.
✅ Read the TXT descriptions so you understand what each option changes.
✅ Build slowly and logically: BALANCE is everything in your combination.
❌ Don’t choose options based purely on the option name.
💡 Some options have a much greater impact than others.
Options like POSITIONING ALTERNATIVES, CPU set-up base values, or block components such as MIDFIELD PLUS+ can significantly reshape the entire gameplay experience.
🎯 MIDFIELD PLUS+, for example, instantly transforms your standalone into a much tighter midfield battle, where the defensive and off-ball side of the game sees some major and never seen, fundamental improvements.
It is designed for those who want a compact midfield experience where getting the ball from one end of the pitch to the other requires a genuine footballing brain.
For example, something like this and you’re good to go!
⚠️ Remember, if you use options: Build slowly with BALANCE always being the priority.
📦 PRESETS
Presets are clusters of options already combined for you, allowing you to quickly achieve a particular gameplay style without needing to build combinations yourself.
For example, the SHORT HALVES PRESET includes a selection of options designed to increase the attacking side of gameplay, creating a more open experience than you might find without it.
❗ Just be sure to read the TXT files inside each preset folder so you understand exactly which options are being used.
✅ STEP 4: BUILD COMBINATIONS SLOWLY
Gameplay systems are complex. When you begin combining options you can quickly shift behaviours and balances in ways you may not realise.
If you run into behaviours you don’t like:
✅ Strip your setup back
✅ Refer to the documentation
✅ Rebuild slowly from a stable setup
🛑 The worst thing I see people doing is building these massively elaborate combinations quickly and for no reason. That is the wrong approach, trust me. I cannot stress this enough! Follow the information in this guide or you will overcomplicate it.
That’s it! Follow this approach and you’ll be in a great position!

🎮 I JUST WANT TO PLAY - GIVE ME SOMETHING TO START
No problem, let’s keep it simple.
🔹1. Make sure you’ve read the ESSENTIAL SETTINGS pdf at the very least to make sure you’re set up properly.
🔹2. Select NATURAL DYNAMIC+ as your standalone and launch the game.
🔹3. In the CPU Sliders section, change Build Up and Shot Frequency both to 99. All other sliders stay at 50. This is the 🟥ATTACKING CPU SET-UP BASE.
🔹4. If you find the game too easy, simply add MIDFIELD PLUS+ (and/or) ATTACK PLUS+ and place it underneath your standalone.
From there, you can take your time to understand the mod and make any further adjustments based on what you want in the documentation.
⛔ EXPERIENCED USERS STILL NEED TO FOLLOW THE CORRECT APPROACH WITH EACH NEW RELEASE
It doesn't matter whether you're completely new to my mod or you've been using it for years - every new release should be approached in exactly the same way.
The reason is simple: the standalones themselves evolve.
With every version, I spend countless hours building, testing, refining and improving the gameplay. The standalone is not the same from one release to the next. It changes, improves and becomes the new foundation upon which everything else is balanced.
And that's the key point:
🔹 The standalone is ALWAYS the reference point.
Because the standalone changes from release to release, the reference point for every option also changes. An option that worked perfectly in a previous version may have a very different effect in the new version because the underlying gameplay has evolved.
That is why I strongly recommend that everyone - experienced users included - starts each new release by simply selecting a standalone and playing with it first.
Give yourself time to understand the gameplay I have built.
Only after you have become familiar with that new reference point should you begin exploring options and making adjustments based on your own experience.
⚠️ The biggest mistake you can make is treating a new release as if it were simply the previous version with some extra files added on top.
Every release is a progression, and the correct approach remains the same:
Standalone first. Learn the gameplay. Adjust later.
🛑 Understanding what has the BIGGEST IMPACT…
Certain elements of the mod have a far greater impact than others. Refine these major areas before even looking at smaller options.
These are the biggest and most important elements of my mod:
🔹 STANDALONES
STANDALONES are by far the biggest element of my mod.
Movement is the main difference between the standalones, but you’d be surprised how much this actually can impact behaviours in your gameplay as well as overall balances.
Before adding a bunch of options, make sure you try vastly different standalonese to experience these changes for yourself. It’s not just about speed.
I recommend the NATURAL DYNAMIC+ standalone. This is one of my favourite standalones and its movement base might just be the best of the entire mod.
🔹 Your CPU SET-UP BASE
After you select a standalone, the next most important thing you do is to pick how you set up your CPU specific sliders. These are outlined in the ESSENTIAL SETTINGS pdf.
I recommend the ATTACKING base (which is Buildup 99, Shot Frequency 99 and everything else 50).
🔹 MIDFIELD PLUS+ and ATTACK PLUS+
MIDFIELD PLUS+ and ATTACK PLUS+ are block components (massive options) that draw from very large areas and are designed to have a much bigger impact than most other options.
🔹 POSITIONING ALTERNATIVES
POSITIONING ALTERNATIVES have a huge impact on behaviour, shape and the overall character of your gameplay. They will dramatically change your experience.
🟪 Don't Judge the Entire Mod on ONE Setup
🔹 One standalone, one video or one person's preferences do not represent the entire mod.
🔹 The mod is capable of producing a huge variety of different experiences.
🔹 Building your gameplay is a process. Start with a standalone, understand the purpose of the different components, and explore what suits YOU.
🔹 If a particular setup doesn't suit you, don't assume the mod itself isn't for you. Explore other standalones and options.
💡 The goal of the mod isn't to force everyone into one specific vision of football. The goal is to provide a huge range of realistic gameplay balances so you can find the experience that feels most authentic and enjoyable to YOU.****
