SMTL
Version 0.2.xxR is coming out this Friday for the last tier. We have worked hard to improve the customization options, added a few scenes to the TV show ;) and fixed quite a few minor bugs.
ATC
I have completed the complex and lengthy part of this first update. I only have one scene left, which is long but fairly simple to finish.
This week will therefore be devoted to configuring the quests, improving the animations, testing the choices, and finalizing the translation. I will give the first version to the testers next week. I think the testing will take quite a long time because some scenes contain a lot of choices, and each choice, and each quest has to be tested. There's a lot of work for them to do.
We have been working since November on this update, which contains 1,400 renders and twenty animations (completed, but we are working on improving, adding, and merging some of them).
If we add the 912 renders contained in SMTL, that makes 2,312 in 3 - 4 months, or an average of 18 - 19 renders per day. I'm not trying to glorify our work, but just to explain to you how hard we work for you and to create these games. I hope you enjoy playing our games and continue to help us create more for you.
MISC
My plan for updates is to release one update per month. Every three or four months for ATC, and every month for SMTL. For now, we are keeping up the pace and no fatigue has appeared to date.
Some of you have expressed doubts about the feasibility of this methodology and fears that the games will not progress quickly enough. I am convinced of the opposite, but I am not deaf to your doubts. As soon as SMTL reaches the end of season 1, which according to my calculations will be in 5 months, I will let you decide on future updates. First, I want to prove to you that we can update the games every 4 - 5 weeks, before asking you.
That's all for this short DEVLOG, and I'm going back to work because there's still a lot to do.
Thank you for your loyalty and love for our work.
As always, I'll leave you with a few spoilers ;) See you soon.
