As of writing there are seven entries in the jam! For today we'll cover them in order of submission!
The Ur-Crane by ThaliaTheMuse: You were brought to this world by a stork, you will be taken by a crane. The Ur-Crane stalks its prey, drives them mad, then takes them when nobody can see them.
echovore by The Raspy Raven: Echovore is an extra-dimensional scavenger that seeps into the world along fractures of noise. It fattens on panic and vibration until architecture twists, corridors loop back on themselves, and time itself frays.
Jim, The Facilitator (A Liminal Horror Monster) by Maia (my-ee-uh): An uncanny corporate entity, ensures productivity via smiling psychological oversight. "Your feelings are valid, but not actionable."
The Spiter by The Bit Bet: It wears the faces of those who have hurt your PCs most, speaking with voices that cut deeper than any blade. It knows their shame, feeds on their despair, and won't stop until nothing remains but an empty husk.
The Flayed Man by NightShiftPress: Outcast. Pariah. Reject. Imposter. Thief. Murderer. What happens when someone ignored and forgotten decides to make a change and be all that someone else can be?
Liminal Stalkers by buttersmooth: A small collection of new enemies for the TTRPG Liminal Horror, inspired by a number of stalker enemies from games such as Resident Evil, Alien: Isolation and many more! These were designed with danger and evasion in mind - it will take a lot of work, luck and effort to take one of these down.
Lady on the Staircase by hechlok: This pamphlet is an entry to the Liminal Horror Halloween Monster Jam and introduces Caroline Krupp, the heartbroken ghost of a mother who haunts the town after failing to save her two children from the flames.
Keep the entries coming! There's still time to throw together a creepy monster of your own to enter. Remember that for this jam we wanted the barrier of entry to be low!
Core Concept: The idea for the jam is simple: lets make some monsters for Liminal Horror.
What should you make? It can be an original creation, or inspired by your favorite horror movie, book, comic, or video game!
What format should it be? Entries can be simple text entries, laid out finished products and with or without art. The most important part is that you make something fun for play! The end results can be text files, pdfs, or any format you choose!
