Hey guys,
V here, this time with more than just a weekly update! I want to show you some production insights, starting from the very first step into making an episode, which is the story board of the script ofcourse!
I am using Notion for all our workflow assignments as I find it very practical, and I really appreciate having all open, pending and completed tasks in one location.
As you can imagine, before an episode is written, there is a Story Board of notes.
This helps define the direction of the episode and provides a clear overview of the development as well as corruption that each episode and character undertakes.
Moreover, as you can see this is where I fine tune the size of each scene as well, making sure that the episode comes out healthy, with enough focus and weight on the vital scenes. I try to measure both number of words as well as number of renders, to keep a solid balance.
Additionally, we try to portray through the SB the emotional journey each character will have, since when you get to writing, it's easy to get "carried away" and end up in a completely different direction than the originally planned.
And lastly, once the script is written, through extra support and in some instances Patreon test players, we add comments and finetune the original body of script, to match each scene and character as much as possible.
What do you guys think, did you enjoy this "behind the scenes" content? If so, please comment below, I am happy to introduce these kind of posts a few times per month ;)
