Hey!Now that the 1.15 Game Editions update has settled down and over 6K games are now editions, it's time to start wrapping up for the final update of the year.
Coming in as 1.16, the game cover update will be doing exactly what it sounds like and bringing the highly requested feature of choosing your own game cover. Cover options will include all localized covers found on IGDB and any cover from related editions. I haven't found a reliable source of alternative covers but it's something I'd be interested in including as well!When you set a custom cover, it will be represented throughout your profile and where ever you see the game on the site. Other people will also see your cover selection when they visit your profile so that you can share your visual flare! You'll also have some control over what covers you see via a new cover display setting.The 2025 Game of the Year event will also be going live starting December 1st!
