Hello all,
I wanted to check in before this year ends as I know it's been a couple months since the last update. I really wanted to get 1.11 out before the holidays but some setbacks have left another 10% of work to be done before the update is truly ready. After trying to crunch on the remaining progress this past month, I've decided I'm going to take a break from working on Backloggd for the next couple of weeks and focus on taking a break instead. That way I'm truly rested to wrap this up come January in which I expect to release. One of these updates I'll stop myself from introducing feature creep halfway through so they don't take so long.
This won't affect the GOTY results, so be sure to get those votes finalized before Dec 31st!
With that I just want to say how grateful I am to have such a dedicated community using Backloggd everyday, I wouldn't be this passionate about the site without all of you sharing your ideas and feedback to inspire me. There's so much more I want to do, I can't wait to explore what's next in 2024. I have big plans that, after 1.11, I can finally commit to.
To close I'd like to look back at some of the milestones / highlights of 2023. I can't wait to show you what I've been cooking, but until then I hope you all find some time to relax, play some games, and enjoy the new year.
Best,
MrProg
