It's been just over 32 hours (when I writing this devlog) since Darling Touch went live, and I genuinely didn't know what to expect. Putting something like this out into the world is nerve-wracking, and seeing how people received it has been... a lot. In the best way.
Let me break down how launch day went, share some thoughts on the feedback, and give you a peek at what's already in the works for the next update.

I genuinely wasn't expecting those numbers in the first day and a half. Those numbers are way above what I was mentally prepared for. If you shared the game, told a friend, or just added it to your collection, that matters more than you know. Thank you.
Feedback So Far
We've got many ratings, comments and feedbacks from both Itch.io, Discord and Patreon. I've been reading every single one. The general vibe has been really positive. People are enjoying the feel and the overall concept. A few recurring points I've noted:
The minigame pacing could use some tuning (heard you loud and clear)
A few bugs slipped through launch I'm tracking them down
People want more characters and content and that's exactly where we're headed
Native Linux build has been added should now run without workarounds for Linux players
Your feedback directly shapes what gets prioritized, so keep it coming.

Character Poll A character poll is in the works to let the community have a voice in who gets added next. This one needs a bit more prep to do right, so it might take a little time but it's happening.
Patreon Updates
A couple of important changes on the Patreon side:
Darling-tier has been upgraded. Patrons at this tier and above will now have access to exclusive scenes that won't be available in the free version. If you've been sitting on the fence about supporting the project, now's a great time.
Darling of Darlings-tier is getting something special: your voice will be prioritized when it comes to what characters and what kind of exclusive scenes get made. You're not just supporting the project. You're actively shaping it.
Final Thoughts
Launching something you've been building alone is a weird mix of exciting and terrifying. Seeing that people are actually playing it, enjoying it, and sticking around. That makes it worth it.
