A fan favorite steps out of Early Access for everyone, our 10th waifu joins the roster, Frieren's scenes get another loving polish, and the browser build slims right down. Here's what's on the way. 💕
Marin Kitagawa Leaves Early Access
Marin Kitagawa is now part of the base game and fully playable for all players, free and supporter alike. She joins Frieren, Tifa, Reze, Ellen Joe, Megumin, and Asuna as a permanently free character.
New Early Access: Rem
Say hello to Rem, Darling Touch's 10th waifu! She joins as our newest Early Access addition. Redeem with your Patreon key in Settings → Patreon section to unlock her. Early Access means you're the first ones in!
Translation Polish
We gave the writing another careful pass. Frieren's scenes got a fresh round of polish, and across all 12 languages (German, English, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese) we cleaned up typos and mistranslations. As always, translations are machine-assisted, so if you spot anything off, let us know on Discord!
Smaller Download on itch.io (HTML5)
The browser/HTML5 build on itch.io now streams character content on demand from our CDN instead of bundling everything upfront. The initial load is now around 125 MB, much lighter than before. Characters load the first time you visit their scene and cache from then on, so it's a one-time wait per waifu.
Play Darling Cards on Discord
Did you know our Discord has its own game? Darling Cards lets you collect cards of your favorite waifus, climb the leaderboard, and earn a special role that shows off just how much you love your favorite.
Rem set will also start dropping from all unpacks soon! Make sure to collect the early prints of all 10 Rem cards.
