Howdy everyone, sorry for the silence. Been taking care of a lot of things on my personal end. I'll get to that more in depth at the very end of this update.For now, let me go over how last month went.
From the looks of my planner, I manage to finish 10 pics. Met my personal limit so we're good there.
Fist time with the new batch of Request Clients and those went swimmingly. Best to address this now for the Request Tier. In MARCH, we're going to rotate the slots with new Patrons, except for Ruby who jumped in this month, so they have one more. Again, as a reminder you have a 2-month limit for this Tier whenever you join. And it's up to me and everyone involved to keep track of that. When March hits, you will be charged on the 1st but stick around until I refund you and THEN you can hop off the tier to a lower one, if you so choose. And then i'll let everyone know when spots are available (if they aren't snagged before that). I'll do my best to give everyone a timeframe of when I'm doing this.
Comm progress has been steady, and the queue has been quietly updated. (Not a lot tho.) Once i have a chance to completely clear it, that's when i can make another formal announcement when comms are open.
That's it for the monthly review. Now I'll get into the real update.As you can see from the image, and from old messages in the server, I'm moving to a new location. It's not the first time i moved but it might as well be since I'm doing half of the heavy lifting this time. Cleaning out the apartment, packing and tossing stuff, talking to the landlord. Slowly but surely. Still have a lot to go through. Haven't even moved any of things i need to the new location yet. Speaking of the new location, it's a strange circumstance. Being honest here, i still do not make a lot to live in California. And so, thanks to a family friend, they're allowing me to rent a room at their home. However, the homeowner also has others renting at their place and they've been pretty lazy roommates, let's say. And so, they've already been issued a notice by the homeowner to leave so that i can move in. They have until the end of the month but that's closely approaching. And I'm in the same boat. Gotta clear out of my place by the 28th. From the looks of it though, it seems i'll be moving in while they are still around so, it's gonna be a very awkward move.
Despite the stress of moving into a semi-cramped home, it will be beneficial for me because I'll be able to start saving money properly. My workspace is up in the air tho. I still need to change addresses for multiple things, get Internet stuff set up somehow. Luckily the homeowner has the same provider as me. And i guess having a reliable transport for the actual move.I wanna say there's more stuff i could mention but i'm currently blanking. For now, still cleaning up my place.It's been tough for me since i've never really done anything like this. I've been living in this apartment longer than the childhood home I was raised in. And i've been living in this city for my whole life, nearly 30 years. So, this will be my first time personally adjusting to a new location.
To not make this longer than it needs to, i just want to say Thank You.Every month of every year for the past 5 years, Thank You. I am forever grateful for the tight knit community we have. For the support and encouragement from everyone, it truly means a lot. I know i say that often but i genuinely mean it every time. I'm lucky to have people i know here online and the few in my personal life that have my back. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for everyone i know.
