It’s been a crazy day and late night lol, so we’re doing today’s GraceTine photo diary style! Went to a forest preserve with my friend last night and we walked 5 miles on the trails…. only to unexpectedly get caught in a severe thunderstorm 2.5 miles in (radar evidence included in pic 5) 💀💀 We toughed it out though and still had a really fun time, and were mega rewarded in the end after the pouring rain finally stopped, ALLLLL the deer came out!! They were super active and running around, and even standing up on their hind legs a bunch to grab tree branches and pick off the leaves. It was like a fairy tale scene lol! Made sure to stream Bambi by Baekhyun on the way home of course.
This park is my favorite to walk in because it’s super near the airport and I get epic plane views (pic 6). And of course can’t forget the fit check, pre-getting-drenched version. Then a few pictures from the last couple days: sushi on Monday at a new place that was fire, there was this one roll with real crab, masago, and avocado, inside, and scallops on top, which is definitely a new favorite. Some views from my walk the other day, blooming lilies, and cool shots of a gosling and red-winged blackbird, which were honestly too close for comfort for how aggressive those bird species are lol, but I survived. And finally an absolute money shot: a Boeing 747 (top right), in the same frame as the Boeing building (bottom middle). Epic.
