Commentary
I'm with Prince Elliot on this one. If Cinderella Tedd already knows she's there, and was concerned by her being chased, Fairy Godmother Hope had best say hello to set her mind at ease. Not doing so would be selfish, as what Hope's mostly being motivated by right now is embarrassment.
Not that I'd suggest she's conscious of that. That sort of thing's a defense mechanism. In the moment, one doesn't think "this feeling is here because of such and such." One thinks "I FEEL FEARFUL! Best do as this instinct says for personal safety and such!"
Granted, if one has the presence of mind to take a moment and breathe in a controlled manner, they might find the presence of mind needed to think. But now I'm off on a tangent, and that presence of mind can be elusive when instincts are peer pressuring the rest of one's brain.
