Hey!
Here are the first few final R17 screenshots - Finally I got to build and play around with the new content. We experimented a lot with various lighting setups and I think the new builds and screenshots turned out pretty nice. I built a large map for R17 which contains all the builds from the screenshots - As always, you can download the map below and test all the builds for yourself.
Despite the ups and downs - R17 is finished now!
(Public release is planned for the end of this month)

I stitched together all the individual builds into one large map - There is a path that will guide you around the map. Make sure to use the recommended settings as mentioned in the guide. Also, please set your FOV (Field of View) to something like ~50 which looks a lot more "cinematic". -especially for screenshots/videos.

The screenshots of the rainy glass are edited a bit more than usual - but you can achieve very similar results in-game with PTGI's post-processing settings. Play around with the Tonemap Curve, Contrast, Saturation, Black-Depth and Sharpness. The default look is way too flat for this type of screenshots - there are so much more details in the raindrops that would otherwise be barely visible.
Added Reflections to the small Raytracing-Test-Shader:
Note: This is just a little test project where I try to learn coding glsl shaders in Minecraft.
There are 4 walls with almost full reflectivity which creates an "infinite mirror room". You can adjust the amount of light-bounces in the shader settings. I added a super basic pbr system with albedo, specularity(+fresnel) and emission.
There is also a player model (camera-sphere) that is visible in reflection and moves/rotates with the player. Kinda gives me portal vibes.
