Chapter Two: Max
I was walking briskly down the street, keeping my hoodie tight around me. I tripped one time, and when someone bent to help me, I scurried away on all fours and dodged into an empty alleyway. I panted, grasping my chest. Its chest. I don’t know.
“Calm down, buddy,” Spite laughed. “You’ve not given me a chance to explain myself.” It tightened around my body. “You’re the big guy’s little brother? Ain’t ya?”
“Big guy?” I whimpered. Something about the squeezing set me off, and not in a bad way. It was embarrassing, but a relief all at once. My face was burning hot.
“The name on the tube,” Spite whispered. “He talked about you all the time. I already feel like I know you.” It peeled off my face, turning to look at me. “Thank you for getting my out of that cramped space by the way.”
I stared at that floating head bobbing before me. “What are you?”
“Can’t we start off with you asking me my favorite color?” He hissed, a long red tongue sticking out from what I guess was its mouth.
“Red?” I choked out.
The head slung back, guffawing righteously. “You’d think so! But actually, I’m a huge fan of pink.” It spiraled around my cock, giving it an extra snug squeeze.
“Hey!” I snapped, slapping my groin. Bad idea! I doubled over, hobbling to a wall I had to keep balance on. “Duh-don’t do that!”
“But you’re responding so nicely,” Spite cackled.
I shook my head, trying to keep my thoughts in order. “What are you?” My knees buckled, and I pressed against the wall to keep myself upright.
“Your people would call me an alien,” he laughed, circling around my head. “But to me you-”
“I am the alien yeah, yeah.” I huffed, still trying to keep my thoughts from going to my dick where he was still caressing. “That doesn’t explain much!”
“Helite is what I am,” he murmured. “A symbiotic parasite to most who know of us.” He slithered around my neck and put his face in mine again. “And I want to make that bond with you.”
“No way!” I lurched. “I don’t want a parasite on me!” I tried plucking him off my skin, stretching the red and white out, but I snapped back against me like a rubber band.
“It ain’t like that,” Spite huffed. “Some other species are jealous.”
“Then what would you call yourself?” I growled, tugging the sleeves of my hoodie back down. “A hero? A treasure?”
Spite did that raspy hiss in my ear again. “I’m actually a politician.”
“Worse!” I snapped.
“Me and my brothers were sent here to earth to try and negotiate with you. Unfortunately, we were taken hostage by your so-called government and put up for study.” His tongue jutted out from my mouth.
I held my breath. “Is that where you met Jack?”
Spite grunted in reply. “He spent more time with my brother Mimic. But he was always nice to us. He talked to us, and actually got to know us.”
Tears stung in my eyes. “That sounds like him.”
“He got me out of there,” Spite whispered, sounding tender. “He was also trying to save Mimic but I guess that didn’t work out.” He sighed heavily and squeezed around me again. “I owe him a life debt. So, I’ll pass it on to you.”
“I-” My voice got stuck in my throat.
Spite tightened more around me, coiling up along my cock again. “This is a mutual bond, one that will benefit us both. Both of us are helpless alone, but together we can make something grand.”
“Like what?” My chest was heaving at this point. I stumbled down the alleyway, trying to find a place to sit down.
“I dunno. That depends on you, my new friend.” Spite purred. “I’ve never bonded with a human, so I don't know what you can do.”
I found a stoop and fell back onto it, sitting so I could catch my breath. I threw my head back, staring up at the sky. There were clouds gathering, blocking out what sunlight there still was. Thunder rumbled in the distance. My phone started ringing.
“Didn’t it feel good to lash out a little?” Spite appeared in the corner of my eye. “Wasn’t it nice to feel strong for once?” I turned my eyes to him. “This world wasn’t made for people to be alone, Max.” He squeezed tight around me again, and I couldn’t ignore how hard I was. My god, I hadn’t been this erect…ever! It was like he saw deep into me, knew what i needed, knew what made me tick.
My phone kept ringing. “Are you a good alien, or a bad alien?" I whimpered.
Spite slipped over my face again. “Let me show you.” Tendrils of white and red ripped through my clothes, shredding them so I was bare.
No.
We were bare.
It would have made sense if I had shouted or tried to defend myself. Instead, I let the fabric fall away and expose us. Our cock stood straight up from our body, tip flared, tendrils weaving in and out like veins that rose and licked at the slit.
“I didn’t think humans would feel so good,” Spite moaned, quivering all around me. “You just looked like a bag of flesh and bone. But all these nerve endings! All these sensations! Ooooh!” The second skin trilled all over me.
“Ah!” My hips arched and I grabbed for the base of my cock. Our cock.
“Fucking hell!” Spite swooned. “What else can this thing do?”
I was stroking hard. I mean, I had jerked off countless times before. But it never felt like this! Like I was erupting from my core with every stroke. Like every breath I took added to my pleasure. The intensity was out of this world!
“I see,” Spite whispered. He tightened over my ass, gripping like hard, strong fingers. He then released and did it again. “Something here.”
Something wet lapped at my ass and I whined. God I sounded pathetic. But everything was so good!
“Like that?” Another wet kiss with pressure added. “Inside here, huh? Would you like that?”
Of course I would! I thought to myself as I watched my cock. Was it getting longer? Did Spite want more shaft to feel more? Precum was practically spilling out, splashing with my rapid pumping.
Spite’s face raised off mine again. “Say it Max. Let us join completely.”
“Yes!” I begged. “I want to feel like this all the time! I want to be strong!”
Spite grinned then smashed his mouth to mine, a long, tentacle-like tongue pushed between my lips and down my throat. Below, he penetrated me. So long virginity. The way it was, I felt like a roasted pig, stuck through completely. But it was good. It was a release.
“Fuck yeah, Max!” Spite yelled triumphantly in my mind. “Take me, save me. I’ll give you everything!”
I continued stroking our cock. It was crazy how amazing it felt. Especially with Spite fucking me from behind.
“That’s right Max. Take me.” Spite whispered. “Oh, we’re going to be an amazing team!” His laugh sounded a bit wicked. “I’m going to love you forever.”
I came right then and there. Everything went white it was so intense. My body went limp, but Spite did not. He took control, moving my body so I kept my hand on our cock. He kept thrusting inside me. I was going to go crazy!
Spite lapped up the cum that spilled on our belly, moaning hungrily as he continued to turn me into a limp fuck doll for his amusement. I must have come again, because it was like lightning struck my body.
When I was aware of my surroundings again, it was raining, and I was standing on top of a power pole. I screamed, and tried to keep my balance, but I fell. Tendrils grabbed the top again and slung me back up.
“Ah, there you are Maxy.” Spite said.
“Where am I?” I yelped, knees shaking.
Spite sighed. “I took us out for a little stroll until you could wake up.” It felt like a hand guided my head. “Look around you Max.”
I gazed out over the horizon, at all the twinkling lights of the town below me. Beyond that, mountains rose into the sky. Lightning struck, illuminating everything before us.
“Whoa,” I whispered.
“I can give you everything,” he whispered again. “As long as you accept me.”
I swallowed as tears came to my eyes. “Can you help me?” I whimpered.
“Of course.”
“I want to know what happened to Jack,” my voice cracked. “Help me.”
Spite sighed, squeezing around my chest like a hug. “I can tell you exactly what happened to your brother. And there was no lab accident.”
Time stopped. The rain stood still before me. The lightning was a glowing bolt before the mountains.
“It was a man,” Spite growled. “And another Helite like me.”
“Who?” I whispered.
“I only know the Helite. A brother of mine,” Spite sounded angry. “Rabid.”
I took a deep breath, fixing my shoulders, standing erect. I gazed back out over the city, my eyes focusing on where the lab once stood. “Then I want to find him.”
Spite laughed. “Good news, he’s looking for us! Well, more me than you.” Spite’s tendrils came off our arm, grabbing hold of a nearby building and swinging us out to it. I screamed, grunting as we hit the wall.
“I’m not going to let you fall, nerd,” he laughed. He swung us out again, between buildings, into the sky, flinging us higher and higher, faster and faster. He stopped at the building across from Harlan’s place.
“Want to go back inside?” Spite asked.
I clutched our chest, realizing that tightness wasn’t there. My anxiety. My fear. It was all gone. I should have been a nervous wreck, but I wasn’t.
“My friend is playing at his family’s restaurant. I want to go see him,” I murmured.
Spite giggled girlishly. “Boyfriend?”
“No. Just friends. I uh…I don’t have a boyfriend.” I admitted, embarrassed.
“Well, I’m your boyfriend now, Maxie,” Spite’s tongue lapped up my cheek. “Just tell me where to go.”
I pointed down the block. “Once you get to the fire station, make a left.” We were off again, flying in the sky, spinning, twirling, splashing in puddles on rooftops. I began to laugh. Really laugh! I hadn’t laughed since Jack died.
“That’s it Maxie!” Spite cheered. “This is life with Spite!”
We eventually landed before the restaurant, and I caught sight of us in the window. I liked the visage, the tall, angular form of swirling red and white. I then realized i couldn’t go in like that! I ducked and scooted around the corner.
“What’s wrong?” Spite scoffed.
“I look like a peppermint latex nightmare!” I snapped. “I forgot you shredded my clothes!”
“Oh is that all?” Spite scoffed. “I got you!” His form relaxed around me. The second skin became a hoodie and sweat pants. As I looked back at my reflection, the fit looked like streetwear. I looked cool! Hell, I looked like I had gone through a second puberty.
“You’re beautiful.” Spite rose up from the hood. “Both of us.”
I swallowed. “Yeah.”
Spite pecked my cheek. “Then let’s show ourselves off.”
“Yeah-wait!” I gasped. I searched around my body before I realized that along with my clothes, my phone was gone. “Oh no! My phone! I can’t message Diana!”
Spite held up the phone. “I thought you might want this.”
“Where were you hiding that?” I scoffed. I had so many missed calls from Harlan, but strangely, nothing from Diana.
“Shit.” I turned my phone off out of fear. “I can’t believe I punched Uncle Harlan!”
“Didn’t you want to?” Spite laughed.
“Max! I’m so glad you’re here!” Julio came out of the restaurant to greet me. “You didn’t have to get all dressed up for me,” he laughed.
“Oh uh-” I patted my chest. “Yeah. I just got this so-”
“I just got finished setting up.” He motioned to the sandwich board. “Why don’t you decorate the sign for us? Mama loved the last one you did.”
“Sure!” My voice squeaked as he handed me the chalk markers.
“The special is the same as always,” Julio knelt down with me as I started drawing on the sign. “Did you get a haircut or something?” he asked after studying me for a while. “You look a little different.”
“Oh. Yeah! Haircut.” I chuckled. “Shaved. That kind of thing.”
Julio smiled. “You look happy too.”
I stalled, hand twitching on the board. I wiped away my mistake. “I do?”
“I can’t explain it. But yeah. I’ve been worried about you with everything going on. I’m relieved.”
I looked into his face, seeing his genuine smile. “Thanks.”
His amber eyes gazed up into the sky. “Looks like more rain. There will probably be a small crowd tonight.” He stood up and took a deep breath. “I’m just glad you could make it.” He offered his hand, helping me up from my squatting position.
Inside I was hugged and greeted by his parents, they gave me a table near the stage and started putting food and drinks in front of me.
“What’s that?” Spite asked, a tendril coming off his hoodie form to point at the plate.
“It’s rice,” I chuckled.
“And that?” he pointed again.
“Queso. It’s a type of liquid cheese for the chips.” I told him. I scooped up some on a tortilla chip and Spite licked at it. He made a disgusted nose and pushed the chip away.
“Okay well maybe you-’d like-”
Julioa’s mom approached, putting a steaming up before me. “This is our new horchata latte,” she said. “Try it! Give me a good review.”
It smelled really good. But as I was about to drink, Spite dove inside.
“Hey!” I yelped, trying to hide that my hoodie was swimming in a cup of coffee.
“This is divine!” Spite sang dreamily. “What is this?”
“Coffee!” I was looking around, making sure no one was looking at me. “Get out of there! This looks fucking weird!”
“But it’s so good! I feel so light!” He giggled as he swam around inside the coffee, little head bobbing upon the frothy surface.
I tried to yank him back but Julio came on stage, so I held the cup close while Spite had his fun.
Spite popped his head out as Julio began playing and singing. “What is that?”
“Huh?” I gave him a look. “What do you mean? His guitar?”
Spite raised up even more from the cup. “Is that music?”
“Yeah. What? Is music not like this on your planet? What was it? Heltith?” I asked, following Spite’s gaze onto Julio.
“Music is deadly for us.” Spite whispered. “Back on Heltith at least. The Choir is what keeps us in line. They do Mother’s bidding, using their songs to shred us, dull us, sometimes kill us.”
“Oh.” How was I supposed to respond to that?
“But this…I didn’t think music could be…wonderful,” Spite sighed. “Is this how you feel Max?”
I looked up at Julio on stage, playing his version of one of Reign’s songs. He looked so natural up there. His music was so beautiful. “I’ll let you borrow my old music player if you want to get acquainted with human music.”
Spite just exhaled, watching from the rim of the cup up at Julio.
