Hi folks!
As we're nearing the release of v0.56 the next week, I wanted to briefly share with you what we've done the last week and what I'll be working on this one.
I spent most of the last week on writing new content for Devon. I felt that the last two updates didn't feature enough of him and his fans deserve some nicer moments with our Coach - I even added another short scene with him that happens after the swimming pool. His part of the update is almost done at this point, I'm wrapping up the last scene, and then I'll move over to Bjorn.
Last week I also onboarded Kiseki to the team, who's now alongside Sqee helping with QA and programming. They've already been a great help, going through the code and fixing issues they've found, as well as going back to earlier scenes and adding Jorgen's new pose where the scenes called for it.
Haku in the meantime was working on designs for charms for Pawprint Press. We hope to finish these quickly so that we can move ahead with the merch! Together we're also working on the design for Anders, the primary character in Lake's side story. I'll share our final design and the process leading to it with you soon!
Another thing I did last month was a call with Reo, a professional editor and more, to discuss the structural side of Dawn Chorus, identify weak points and improve them. I have a whole list of issues and ideas on how to tackle these, but for now I'll let them gestate while I work on v0.56.
I'm leaving for proper 3-week vacations the next week, so the update will have to be released before that. I don't like working with a set deadline like this, I'd prefer to give the update a bit more time to develop, but this time it has to be done this way, for I hope the last time.
