1:56:00 -- plus or minus about ~45 seconds for a "special thanks" and credits slide. That'll be the runtime for Apollo 8: Remastered
During the editing process, the schedule fluctuated wildly as it tends to do. I initially slipped two days into the window, moving the Patron release date from 1/15 to 1/17 -- and then busted my chops to claw back a day and am currently on track for a release on 1/16.
I have the entire sound of the video done -- and visuals done up to shortly after TEI. That work will be done today, leaving the 14th and 15th as "Captioning Days" and review.That final layer is quite tedious and labor-intensive -- not mentally challenging, but just somewhat draining. As such I try and schedule it somewhat generously. Hard to say if it will actually take two full days -- probably unlikely. Rendering will commence either midday or on the evening of the 15th, and uploading overnight. Video will launch on the 16th.
It will remain visible to you as Patrons-only through the 22nd. An ad-free version will also be uploaded to Google Drive. This is also the chance for me to get feedback from all of you on the film, since it's not too late nor visible to make modest changes.
On 1/22, the video (or any subsequent updated version thereof) will go public.
Thanks so much for your constant support -- a bit tired at the moment to say anything overtly grandiose, but I am just happy to say that I remain very upbeat and proud on how the film is turning out, and that it is very much something worth watching.
