Hello! A sign of life from Philadelphia. It's freezing! I am making my first in-person trip to Washington D.C. to visit the National Archives next week, and begin the process of familiarizing myself with the machines and workflow I'll be using to really increase the amount of footage intake I am able to facilitate (which will in turn, fuel more low-visibility projects, drive down cost etc).
In the meantime, here is some low-hanging fruit -- I just rendered the launch sequence from the most recent film on 8, with the music track muted. I am also in the process of reconfiguring the $10 Patron google drive folder from Apollo 8 to the now-current project: ASTP.
An interesting development: Looks like the most up to date drivers for my NVIDIA graphics card broke its compatibility with high-speed, GPU-assisted video rendering with my editing software. (I am still using the 2018 'edition'.) So, I have had to buy the most up-to-date version of that software, a full 7 releases/generations newer! I may have to relearn some basic things.
I will be posting the first ASTP status board within a week, and we can get our bearings back.
