I am incredibly excited to give you a sneak peek at what’s coming in Version 1.0.8! But before we dive into the details, I want to give a massive shoutout and a BIG thank you to these three people working hard behind the scenes: Daedalus, IronFatalis, and Lily They’ve been crushing it in the background, helping craft our brand-new dialogue overhauls and multi-variant endings.
How is the Dialogue System Evolving?
Here’s the breakdown:
Choices Matter: Your responses will now directly impact your next Level Up event and determine which of the two possible endings you get with a contact.
More Content to Unlock: Different choices mean different dialogue paths, unique image content, and entirely separate endings depending on how you play.
Testing the Waters: For now, this new system will only apply to our two newest contacts. If you love it (and we think you will!), we plan to roll these changes out to older contacts in future updates based on your feedback!
What Else is Landing in This Release?
The new dialogue system is our biggest change and is taking up most of our time, but we're still adding our Two New Contacts along with upgrading and video content!
No More Missed Content: We’re tweaking the response system so you must respond to progress to the next level. This fixes the issue of contacts leveling up too fast and accidentally locking you out of their dialogue content.
We'll be fixing bugs that were found in our last update and making some very minor adjustments to the old dialogue.
