With the month coming to a close, it's a good chance to look back on Octransfur (to recycle last year's joke, the reason Patreon went on pause for this month, too). Here are the full resolution pictures of the first 8 pictures this month, along with the timelapse and a little comment for each~
Day 1, Mystery - Because of time zones, this piece would come out on October 2 in Japan, which is Pichu Day! So why not base it around a certain mysterious Pichu, known for hanging out with shiny Pichu?
Day 2, Charge - What's cooler than an electric car? An electric plane!
Day 3, Switch - The first commission of the month. It was fun to do something very different for this day.
Day 4, Glitch - After a lot of thinking, I finally remembered the Mew Glitch exists. One research session later, the idea was formed.
Day 5, Flight - Obviously, I had to do planes again. Figured I'd go for a bit of workplace humor with this one.
Day 6, Party - A combination of being friends with a part-time cake and being intrigued by piñata art I saw around the internet led to this picture.
Day 7 - Water - Another commission! They said Lugia at night, but didn't specify much more, so I played around with it~
Day 8 - Retro - Obviously had to go with Blockbuster. The N64 and the rest of the setup followed. Fun fact: The TV image is a screenshot from the credits of the first Pokémon movie~ (Also, the extra filters on the timelapse were fun, but also vastly increased the render time! Something to keep in mind for next time.)
