This year's Octransfur is off to a somehow both strong and shaky start, but I'm still feeling mostly good about this~ The cameos are also going pretty well so far, which is nice! Anyhow, much like last year, here are the full resolution pictures of the first 8 pictures this month, along with the timelapse and a little comment for each~
Day 1 - Adventure - A strong start is very important, and this one was great fun~ Mashing together things you like will always be a good strategy for making amusing pictures.
Day 2 - Utility - This one is where I really ended up establishing the theme of these pictures taking longer than I anticipated. On the bright side though, I'm getting a lot of practice doing backgrounds when making pictures like these~ (This is one of the pictures this month that I'm thinking of turning into a YCH in the future, too.)
Day 3 - Drink - It's planedragons all the way down~ (Cameos: Blitz and Avzin)
Day 4 - Paint - It's always fun to make pooltoys, especially the shine, but the thing that I remember most is that I couldn't stop giggling to myself when drawing The Pose™ >W<
Day 5 - Outfit - This one is an idea I'd been wanting to do for a while, based on a sequence from years ago by someone called Omoi on FA. It was also a really interesting challenge to depict a whole sequence in one picture.
Day 6 - Size - So this one is where I started falling apart a bit more, but it was also another crossover. Painting the background on this was probably the most relaxing part of it.
Day 7 - Book - Yet another callback~ I feel like I'm very nostalgic nowadays. This one feels like one of my most efficient pieces, in that I was able to include a lot of detail that I could draw quickly. (Also, some background details hint at other future projects)
Day 8 - Double - Ironically, for the most recent picture on this list, I don't remember too much about drawing it ^^; The planning stage is what sticks out the most, specifically the pose design and stumbling across the parallels I could draw. (Cameos: Lucky, Scott, Isaac, and Hypra)
(PS: I just noticed that Patreon has made some really bad UI changes again. This feels like a really bad sign as to the future of this platform, so let's just be aware and careful of that.)
