Sooo, I'll make this quick since I promised myself to release something before the year is over and I have less than 40 minutes left for that in my time zone.
First of all, sorry for the insane delay and the radio silence.
A lot has changed in my personal life, which made things more complicated, though that's not an excuse for the radio silence.
Anyway - I did work on Flowframes sporadically and got some new stuff. Sadly a lot of time also went into improving the codebase, which is important for development, but does not offer anything to you as end users.
This is marked as RC1 for Release Candidate 1, which means it may not be the final release as it hasn't been 100% tested for bugs etc. The version check might also incorrectly report 1.40 as the latest, even when running 1.41.0. Stuff like this will be cleaned up later.
Changes:
Whole bunch of features, improvements, fixes, as well as some things being removed as they were simply obsolete or a burden to maintain. New RIFE models up to 4.26 are in, with significant quality improvements. A proper command-line interface (via a separate, GUI-less executable) has been added for automation/scripting - documentation will follow soon. Hardware video encoding on Intel & AMD GPUs (that includes iGPUs) is in, you'll see the options QuickSync and AMF respectively. Flowframes can now handle variable frame rate (VFR) videos, preserving frame timing after interpolation. Additionally, a ton of UI/UX improvements were made, such as faster startup times, drag-n-drop no longer "locking" the cursor until the import was complete, more reliable GPU detection, the list goes on.
Full changelog is in Flowframes and may be missing some changes, I will go over the progress in the coming days and update it if I missed anything.
