Turns out there was one critical bug I missed for 1.24.0: Subtitles were always disabled.
This hotfix gets rid of that problem, and subtitle transfer should work fine again.
If you don't use the subtitle feature, there's no need to update, 1.24.0 is fine apart from that one bug.
