Hello everyone! Anyone here catch the end of the World Cup? Imma be real, I really didn't pay much attention to it, but I heard it was pretty nuts. Godspeed to anyone who got tickets for any of the games - I knew some friends who went, and the prices they paid made MY wallet hurt.

WHERE WE'RE AT NOW
Tones and I is an Australian singer-songwriter best known for her 2019 global hit "Dance Monkey," which became one of the... wait sorry scratch that, we're actually talking about the Beach Boys!
Last time, I shared that the script was nearly done and I'd soon be doing filming and and voiceover. I hope you're into the linear progression of events, because I did just that!
This weekend I completed the initial round of filming and VO. In practice, that means about 90% of the on-camera bits and about 70% of the VO. It's not like the rest of the script isn't done - that was just the amount I could physically and mentally do lol. I plan on a second round of VO this upcoming weekend, plus maybe some extra filming bits in case any ideas come to me.
For the next two weeks, I will be devoting myself to editing this video. My hope is, by giving myself over double the amount of time to edit, I'll be able to complete this video without having to sacrificing things like Going Outdoors™ or Moving My Body™ or Socializing with Friends™. We'll just have to see.
For that reason, this update and the next will be shorter than the ones before it. I apologize, but my focus really does need to be on editing now in order to keep this video from being my own personal Smile.

Thought this could be cool - the video below is the raw cut of me doing takes for the very beginning of the video. As you'll see, filming for videos usually involves me saying lines repeatedly so I have options in editing. I also probably come off like an insane person to my neighbors, but ah well!
