Story time: at one of my last jobs I had a colleague I chatted with a lot. She told me about her hobbies, new recipes, her friends and her daughters. I told her about my girlfriend, dates we went on, when I cooked for her, brought her flowers or planned vacations together. She was really sweet and never weird about the topic.Half a year in she asked me why I never talked about boys and if I didn't want to have a boyfriend. I was so confused - was she a poly ally? And then it hit me... the damn German confusion with "girlfriend" and "female friend". And I told her "My girldfriend. Who I love and sleep with. My partner."Well, after that our relationship changed and she grew cold towards me. No more chatting about private matters. I though I was super clear but since then I am making a point to explicitely call the people I am in a relationship with my partners to erase any doubt. Lesson learnt. Did you have any confusions like this?Haha we're getting a son and cat reveal before an actual Theo reveal! Poor Zockl doesn't know what's going through Flix' head. He only sees he's glued to his phone all the time.
