Of course Theo is understanding and supportive! :DIt did cross my mind to write a storyline about homophobia in friendships and Flix being confronted with it for the first time (minus the situation with Zockls family) and having to stand his ground. But I just... didn't want to. I want it to be normal or even better, absolutely unimportant. And after all, there are still other people in this story in need of a change of heart.
"Love is something you do" - is this a universal saying?I feel like it's something I've come across more often in the last couple of years. It used to feel really unromantic and unintuitive to me. Growing up, love was sold as this bigger-than-life force of nature to me. Media and adults were telling me you only get one, the one big love.
But today I know better. At least for myself. :)I find beauty in celebrating all kinds of different love. Taking a critical look at romantic love and trying to decenter romantic relationships made me appreciate the many relationships with amazing people in my life even more. ❤️
