So I started reading Monster Girls in Space by M. Tress. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it if you're into harem, monster girls, some steamy scenes with quality story-telling to back it up.
I'm working through book 4 right now, but when I finished book three I spoke to Tress and asked him if he'd mind if I played in his sandbox. He gave me permission and has been working with me to tweak the story I pretty much spontaneously decided to write.
