Last night's signing at Forbidden Planet was a blast. It was scheduled for two hours but ran well over five by the time I got done signing everthing. My thanks to Matt D and everyone at the shop for hosting me, hoping we can do it again sometime down the road. Great seeing folks and catching up with a few old friends. Shout out to Phil and Rob, hugs and blessings.
Next week I'm back on Staten Island -- sadly, I'm always back on Staten Island -- for the New Dorp Comic Con held annually at New Dorp High School. Last year was actually the first indication that my signings might be picking up by a bit because I was super busy the entire time. This year I decided I wouldn't do a panel so I'll be available the entire event for anyone who comes by. I'll be set up next to the folks from JHU Comics, which is where the tour kicked off last week.
They haven't announced the May 23rd signing yet but I have plane tickets so hopefully they'll hop on that asap. I want to promote it and get folks to their shop because air tix ain't cheap and I want them to make their money back if possible. So, stay tuned.
I've also just been invited to another out-of-state event in July, which I'm thinking I'll accept. So, etc etc tec.
Hope to see some of you folks next week, or in two weeks, or in three, or in VA next month. Whew. Going back to bed to read Dick Tracy comic suntil I pass out. Little old man is full of meloxicam and very tired.
