I will be a guest at the Nomad Comic Book Show in Chandler, Arizona on July 25th. This will b first time in the state of Arizona, I hear it will be hot that day. I will be inside a building, signing and sketching for whoever shows up.
I don't know if I'll have books for sale, I'm hoping to arrange something with the promoters to have copies of the second printing of Nerd Inferno if it's possible. Or I can ship some books, I don't know yet. It's about four weeks away, I have my plane tickets and my stomach's already tightening in anticipation of the flight. Maybe if I get on enough flights I'll get used to it again.
So, yeah, I'm going to be in Arizona. As always, I hope to see some of you folks at the show. I'll have pens and cards to sketch on, and I'll try to have some new drawings done in time for the show. I'm working on commissions and other stuff I owe people so I'll try to slip a few card sketches in when possible. I can also try to sketch at the show. Maybe my portfolios? I don't know if my portfolio carrier is viable as carry on, size-wise. I'm not comfortable checking original art in to be tossed around my baggage handlers so I'll see what's up with that (does anyone have experience with taking their portfolios on flights? Let me know what you've done/experienced, if you can).
