A little rant post!
I’ve been pretty confused about what turn to take with my art right now. I want to introduce more OC content, but fanart does better with my audience, and I feel the need to create more powerful illustrations, but I also want to draw my sona more to build connection between me and my audience. I feel like I’m thrown all over the place but I know enough to say that whatever I am doing right now is not working. It’s not working with me, and it’s not working with the algorithm. There’s a million things that I could be changing, but only one of me. I wish the answer would be to just continue drawing what I like to draw, and posting these drawings online. But I also know that it’s okay that it’s hard. In the last few months I’ve started this Patreon page and I’ve began to post on YouTube, it is absolutely expected that this beginning part is super stressful, at the end of the day, I’ve just started to figure out what is it that is working, and what isn’t. So I guess I just have to grind my teeth and keep working on being a better creator. But in the back of my mind there is always a question - am I spreading myself thin?
