DESCRIPTION

A Donald and Douglas story!

It's VERY similar to Stepney Makes an Entrance (albeit a bit less humorous) with Donald and Douglas being branded as "uninvited guests" instead of making an unexpected entrance.

While the Scottish Twins were the leads, Sir Topham Hatt's part was the most important. It showed that in order to accomplish his grand design, he had to fund raise and network with wealthy and powerful people. (Sometimes people he didn't even trust or respect!) He was also placing high expectations on his engines to perform well. Perhaps even higher than he usually does.

If this story had taken place, his desire for expansion and creating a memorable legacy would have been tempered quite a bit. I don't think the Last Haven disaster would've happened if Sir Topham Hatt had this experience ahead of time.

At the moment, Sir Topham Hatt is so keen to accomplish his goals, that he is willing to overlook the misgivings he has with Walter Sliggs, Carlo Debris, and even Sir Frederick Aura.

It would've been fun to do a Scottish Twin story, but I don't think an accident that wasn't their fault was the best use of time. However, I did like where I was going with Topham's story. It just wasn't the time. I hope you enjoy it.
