Hi everyone!

I hope you are enjoying Release 6. I can’t wait for you all to get to see 7. Two big things happen that have a big impact on our story, and I’m dying to spoil it, but I won’t.

I thought I might talk about two of our new girls, Jasmine and Jessica. By the way, I really need to stop making names sound similar. It makes it so easy to make mistakes when writing. In the programming Jasmine is labelled as [jas] and Jessica is labelled as [jes]. It makes it way too easy to get confused. Maybe I’m just getting old.

In The Script

I bring these two up because I found it interesting writing them. On the first draft of the script, Jim said that they felt too similar during the sex scene, and he was entirely correct. I had failed to establish their characters properly in the sex.

I sometimes feel like writing porn is like writing a play. Instead of a stage that limits your scenes, you are limited by sex. I am essentially trying to write a story around a tableau of sex scenes (Can you tell I come from a theatre background?). That said, I like limitations. Limitations help creativity in many cases.

Similar, But Different

So here I have Jasmine and Jessica, both girls from the underbelly of life. The stripper and the criminal’s girlfriend. I hadn't written them the same in the scenes. Jasmine is a friendly and tactile hot mess. Jessica is… Well, let's call her, feisty. I mentally describe her conversation style as vocal sparring. That’s why she likes Randall, because he fights back.

That left me with how I wanted to portray them in sex.

During Sex

Jessica, I modelled on the power bottom trope, or, at least, she wants to be a power bottom but she is in fact just a brat who wants someone to put her in her place.

Jasmine is based on a girl I knew years ago, who I used to say must breathe in through her arse so she could keep talking. I wanted to play up to that friendly and tactile nature, so she’s making friends with Randall while he is inside her.

Both girls are post sex cuddlers. Jessica, because she has been tamed and she finds peace in that. Jasmine just likes to be in contact with people.

Where They Came From

Jessica was planned from the start as a character whereas Jasmine was made as a friendly stripper for that first scene. Jim and I both fell in love with her model and personality, so we had to bring her back and she will be returning more in the future. I think I will make them friends. Jessica could do with someone who’s friendly nature can soak up all her verbal barbs and still want a cwtch (pronounced cutch, this is the Welsh word for a hug. I’m not Welsh but I have fond memories of a cuddly Welsh girl).Right, I have some new characters to get the artists on designing for Release 9.Leave your questions below if you want to.Sinburn.
