So woke up to a fun surprise...the book has a printing error haha why is this my luck?!
So somewhere in the process the from the word doc we gave to the printing peeps...all the first person inter monologue in the entire book did get italicized. It was italic when we gave it to them. Now I'm not interested in pointing blame at anyone, it doesn't help the problem, I just want to find a solution to fix the problem with a book coming out in a week....SADLY the problem is 9,000 copies BIG and they are printed! Too much money to turn back now kind of problem.
Even SADDER this lot is the copies you all were going to get.
So we're going to include a FREE digital copy with all the physical books. Still going to sign them for you all, I mean it's. FIRST EDITION...misprint. I feel like I'm signing a really pretty report card that has a F on it lol But I'm going to try and make that F or a D or a high C into an oddly shaped A.
Errors make books more valuable right? right? I hope so. I'm sorry Starscreamers, we tried to make this perfect. It may still read okay, it looks beautiful but obviously things could get interesting with the tense starts to change.
I'm still working the problem but just wanted to give you a heads up the wrinkle I'm dealing with on this fine Sunday. -Olan
