I'll be releasing R016 shortly, and I could use your help. As many of you have experienced, the savegames don't always transfer properly from older game versions to new one, so I'm revamping the savegame system. I'm tracking down a few final bugs, and having the logs from your copy of the game would be incredibly helpful.
The most important thing is that you do this the very first time you launch R016. That's the only time the game imports your save data from the previous version, so I need to capture the log from that initial startup.
Please use these steps to send me the logs:
Launch ROTN.exe and press Enter on the Disclaimer screen. When you reach the Revenge of the Nerd main menu—and before doing anything else—enter DEBUGLOG into the Cheat Code box and press Enter. You should see the message: "Debug info logged to console, press F12 to open console."
Press F12 to open the WebView2 console. A console window will appear. Right-click anywhere inside that console and select Copy console, then paste the contents into a .txt file.
Please send me that .txt file. Patreon DMs have a character limit, so the easiest way is to send it to me via DM on Discord or F95Zone. Also, tell me if the save transferred properly to R016 for you.
