Demo Launch

Wow so a lot happened over the past couple days in May. I released the demo and it got a bit more attention that I thought it would! Over the course of 24 hours the demo got 100+ downloads on itch and a few people left some very kind comments. Also thank you to the two people who left 5 Star reviews, that meant a lot ;__; We're still so early on in development- there was definitely some learning curves. I released a buggy android build- which seems to work fine on tablets now- but we'll see how the phone build performs. And hella typos haha.I've re-uploaded patreon and itch versions several times without updating the version number- the latest iterations contain the reported typo fixes, some performance improvements, but the content is the same.I want to give a heartfelt thanks to everyone who took the time to play the demo and for your patience as I navigate these growing pains when it comes to releasing a project publicly. But enough sappiness, what's next?!

Upcoming

I'm excited to announce that our character artist, Mhacha Palaby, has been commissioned for several characters (Steve, Troy, and Patrick). Our two lovable yeens are in the sketch phase :3Vui, our background artist, is finishing up the background for the Bookstore Floor 2. I'm really excited about this one because I think it really makes the first couple days feel dynamic with the various variations.

I think the next background I'll commission will the park- I have a few scenes drafted at the park. The placeholder background is very pretty (thanks Uncle Mugen!) but I'd love to have the lighting variations as they really set the mood.

In terms of content for v0.0.5p I'm hoping to have Patrick D3 and William D3 polished by the end of June. The itch v0.0.5i build will be the same as v0.0.4p.
