0.2 is still in progress, and the work continues.
This update started with chastity and plugs, which turned out to be one of those features that sounds smaller than it is. I did not want them to be fake scene flags or little one-off checks. I wanted the game to actually understand them as equipment: body-aware slots, protected removal, key ownership, outfit vibe labels, and authored scenes for putting them on or taking them off.
That meant going back through a lot of sexual content and making sure it respected the new states. Locked scenes cannot quietly assume free access. Plugged scenes need to know when anal content should react. Chastity needs to know whether the player has the key or whether someone else is holding it. A lot had to be rewritten, branched, or blocked properly.
It has been a long ride, but I think it was the right call to do it early. If I waited until the game had twice as many scenes, this would have been a nightmare refactor. Getting these systems into 0.2 means future content can be written with them in mind from the start.
The body-state work is growing too. CyberClinic now has the first version of a body-modification chair. This is completely new and still in progress, but it is the base for future body modifications. The game can now track live body frame, breast size, and anatomy separately from route identity, which means body changes can eventually affect the paperdoll, portrait, equipment slots, and authored reactions without breaking the underlying route.
Right now the chair is mostly a working testbed. You can preview the nude paperdoll and portrait and change body form or breast size. It is not the final version of body mods yet, but the core is there, and that is the important part.
I also added a new slice of main story content. No spoilers on names or exact quest details, but the strange message now has a follow-up, and you can finally move toward the person connected to it. It is still a sketch of the larger thread, but it gives the main mystery a real next step. I want to push more main quest content during 0.2 while this lane is open.
The city map is opening up at the same time. Sterling Row, Residential Quarter, and The Gutter are now live on the world map, with Volthex Station added under Lowburn Yard. The Gutter is the roughest new district so far: Ebis Pawnshop, Patchwork Clinic, Backroom Arcade, and The Flophouse. It gives the city a dirtier edge, with sort of under the counter atmosphere.
Residential Quarter now has an evening burglary loop too. If your Deception is high enough and you have cash on hand, you can look for a house to break into, try the lock, search inside, or use a terminal to make the job safer. Burglary can produce stolen tech, and Ebis Pawnshop now works as a sell-only fence for stolen and counterfeit goods. Finally some small crime economy, and an alternative way of making money.
There is also a new Eva bathroom encounter at home. It is a small low-chance scene, but it points toward something I want to expand: character galleries in the journal. I am thinking these little moments could unlock certain images over time, so gallery progress comes from actually playing and finding things instead of just opening a static menu.
So that is where 0.2 is right now. The build is not finished yet, but a lot of the important groundwork is already in: chastity and plugs as real systems, body modification support, more city districts, the first burglary/fence loop, a new main story slice, and early thoughts toward gallery unlocks.
It is messy work, but it is the kind of work the game needs. The more these systems become real now, the more future scenes can react to what the player has actually done.
