Hey everyone!
Just wanted to share a quick update on my release schedule and what’s coming next. TL;DR at the end.
Right now, my focus is entirely on the publishing side of the Dawn of Corruption 1.0 release. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes to get everything ready, and that’s taking priority for the time being.
Because of that, there won’t be a new version released this month.
That said, I’m planning to do a few months of post-launch content, so there’s more to look forward to soon.
I’m currently trying to gauge what you all want the most for the game, while also balancing that with what I’m personally the most passionate about working on.
One feature I’m planning to add is a gallery mode that will include all the art and character forms in the game.
Beyond that, I’d like to start adding endings to characters that don’t have one yet, likely by bringing in guest writers to help expand those stories.
Please comment below with any other ideas you’d like to see added.
I’ll be putting together a poll soon to help determine which features should be prioritized in the near future.
I won’t be adding ideas that I feel would require too much work for post-launch content. Even if a suggestion is great, it may not be something I can realistically take on after release.
Finally, another big announcement. I want to return to making animations. It’s something I missed doing for a long time now, but having both DoC and Hypermancer shipping monthly made it impossible for me to dedicate the time to it.
But now that I’m slowing down a bit for DoC, I can use that extra time to make some really hot animations in 3D like I always wanted.
The plan is to create growth-focused work similar to what I was doing in 2023–2024, and integrate them as cutscenes within Hypermancer.
These animations will be included in-game, and also released separately on Patreon.
So, TL;DR, the release schedule for Patreon will now be:
- New Hypermancer version (monthly)
- New Dawn of Corruption version (every other month, starting in May)
- Hypermancer related 3D animation work (every other month, starting in June)
Thanks again for all the support, everyone. I really appreciate it.
I’m genuinely excited for what’s coming next.
