Some believe that the source of corruption in the Dorran Government is the Prime Minister, Eli Trasp, whispering lies and deceit in the young Empress' ear. He rarely leaves the young empress’s side and is protected at all times by both her royal guard and his own.

Menectris Assalyn
The Menectris is the head of the Mage's College in Dorran. She is greatly respected by the student body and staff, and has held her position for almost a century. She tries to stay out of politics, preferring her research and seeing the progress of the students, but as the longest standing leader in the city many look to her for guidance.

Tomias Shilby
The Shilby family own a lot of the industrial buildings and factories in the lower class areas of the city, particularly around the docks. It is generally well known in the area that most of the families business is of the illegitimate variety. Tomias Shilby, the head of the family, is trying to lead them into more legitimate enterprises, but he finds more and more that his talents lie in the shadows.
