Forgemaster Narr Alharic
Forgemaster Alharic is more foreman than religious leader. His primary role is to ensure that the fires at the heart of the temple never diminish, guaranteeing all those who rely on the temple can continue their work and worship uninterrupted. He is a stoic figure, speaking little, but what words he does offer always carry weight.

Nalm Asamal
Nalm Asamal is a title bestowed upon the head of the Order of the Magi when they take office. The Nalm’s identity is kept hidden and those outside the inner circle are often not even aware when one Nalm’s tenure ends and another begins. When appearing in public as the Nalm they wear traditional robes of the nomadic magi, an outfit that completely obscures their face and features, as though to protect them from the great sandstorms of the desert.

Keeper Ustura
Ustura is the leader of the Keepers, a mysterious group who tend to the Valley the Tombs outside the city. It is she who greets the pall bearers at the end of the death parades held for the city’s honoured dead, and she who guides the body and soul of the departed onwards to the Valley where the Keepers watch over them for time eternal. Her intriguing association with death is intermingled with legends of her ageless beauty and many try to catch a glimpse in the short few moments when the temple gates open, but those few who are close enough see little past her ceremonial porcelain mask.
