Places of Worship
Hilltop Ritual Temple
The Farravettre Temple gazes over the fjords and jagged cliffs toward the open sea. Vessels passing through waterways often anchor nearby and send a small boat ashore to make offerings before continuing their voyage. A ritual sacrifice, typically a goat or other small land animal, is believed to placate the sea spirits, ensuring safe passage.
Local villagers come to make sacrifice in hopes of richer catches for their fishing boats, and pilgrims sometimes travel days or weeks to make an offering for the sea to return a lost loved one. Though whether the gods truly hear these rites is unknown, the ceremonies provide a steady supply of fresh carcasses and, more importantly, souls for whatever dwells in the sea cave beneath the temple.
Woodland Temple
This nameless temple is built among the ruined remains of what was clearly once a much larger religious complex. It has few visitors seeking a place of worship, just the occasional wanderer looking to pray to the icon atop the hill. More commonly it is frequented by travellers journeying through the forest as a welcome stopping point.
Tempus Irejax is the sole keeper of the shrine, a seemingly ancient dwarven figure who gladly provides shelter and a warm meal in exchange for an evening of companionship and stories. It seems he knows much about the temple's past, hinting at it's former name and the ruin that befell it, but he deflects when pushed for details. Perhaps the graveyard might contain some clues?

ItW Realm of the Tarnished - The Veld 01 Complete Bundle
This set is based on the world of Elden Ring, specifically Limgrave. I have made sure that even if you are not familiar with Elden Ring, these maps can be a great addition to your game, and for those of you who are, it contains some fun Easter Eggs. I am planning to continue this series for a little while, so let me know which part of the Lands Between you think I should go to next!

Like all of the temples in Samarahd, the Temple of Fire is not dedicated to any particular deity but is a place of worship for those who feel a particular draw to its power. Many of those are makers or creators, who feel kinship with the process of destruction and rebirth.
It is also common in the city for temples to provide community services. The fire temple is situated in the heart of the Sinaea District, where the artisans and craftspeople of the city live and work. It houses an enormous communal smelter and forge for those who work with metal and the ores mined from in and around Samarahd.

Forgemaster Narr Alharic is more foreman than religious leader. His primary role is to ensure that the fires at the heart of the temple never diminish, guaranteeing all those who rely on the temple can continue their work and worship uninterrupted. He is a stoic figure, speaking little, but what words he does offer always carry weight.

Nalm Asamal is a title bestowed upon the head of the Order of the Magi when they take office. The Nalm’s identity is kept hidden and those outside the inner circle are often not even aware when one Nalm’s tenure ends and another begins. When appearing in public as the Nalm they wear traditional robes of the nomadic magi, an outfit that completely obscures their face and features, as though to protect them from the great sandstorms of the desert.

Ustura is the leader of the Keepers, a mysterious group who tend to the Valley the Tombs outside the city. It is she who greets the pall bearers at the end of the death parades held for the city’s honoured dead, and she who guides the body and soul of the departed onwards to the Valley where the Keepers watch over them for time eternal. Her intriguing association with death is intermingled with legends of her ageless beauty and many try to catch a glimpse in the short few moments when the temple gates open, but those few who are close enough see little past her ceremonial porcelain mask.

The fiend cannot seize its prize by force while the temple’s wards hold, but infernal law grants it the right to argue its claim before the saint’s arbiter at sunset. In the hours before twilight, lesser devils are sure to begin probing the temple’s wards, hoping to trespass its walls to destroy any documentation that might see the contract voided.
Can the party defend the archives and argue for the fugitive before their soul is lost? This adventure takes place in the city of Dorran in the Cartosia campaign setting, but the names of people and places can be changed to place this adventure in any urban environment across a variety of campaign settings.

As their ersatz bureaucracy has swelled, disruption to the regional populace and local commerce has grown too impactful to ignore.
Can the party venture into their lair and audit the goblins’ operation, or will violent intervention prove necessary? This adventure is set in the realm of Cartosia, but can be easily adapted to feature in any campaign setting.

This neckpiece is composed of a highly resonant metal that rings satisfyingly when a finger is run over it. A single, wrapped leather band runs through the center of the oddly contoured bars of metal that make up most of the wrapping of this piece of jewelry. At the center, a carved wooden bauble sits resembling the face of a man wearing an iron helmet, yelling out at the top of his lungs.

These masterful performers weave the spoken word with music and illusory effects to create truly dazzling shows. It's rare though that these bardic powerhouses are simply recounting unrelated tales, no they seek to travel and forge their own stories to pass down. The greater the triumph, the greater the tale they can tell and the more their glory will grow. These traveling adventurers with a penchant for poetry have been called by their people, the talespeakers.
