Background
The Moonglade is home to many ancient wonders, most of which have been lost to time. This crumbling Ziggurat may have stood for thousands of years before its current inhabitants laid claim to it. Perhaps the group were always zealous fanatics, perhaps the fey-touched presence within the temple influenced their minds.
Either way they have dedicated themselves to an un-seeable, un-knowable being that resides beneath, or perhaps within the whirlpool. It's hunger is endless, and it's followers relentless in their drive to bring it souls to devour.
