Sorry for abit more of a serious post, and the warnings, I like to keep things kinda happyish and I've Kinda been putting off making this for awhile.
I've kept it pretty secret that back in early/mid September, my mother took sick pretty badly all of a sudden, something that doctors told us initially was just a bit of pneumonia.
It became very clear however that it was something a lot more serious than pneumonia, she ended up going through open heart surgery literally on my birthday, she managed to make it through okay but she gradually started getting weaker over time until on the 21st of this month, the doctors called us all in, explained that she was on 4 different kinds of medications to increase her blood pressure and they were doing everything they could just to keep her alive.
We had her funeral on Wednesday.
She was still in her mid 60s, and pretty much the only real family I had, so I expected to see her for a long time still, I'm kinda just managing I guess?
So onto art, I was hoping to just settle in and churn out the rest of the comic pages before new years, I don't know that I can do that now.
I was already stressed and behind, now I've got alot more to do around here in addition to my other responsibilities.
So I'm gonna try to finish the comic, and I don't really know where to go from there.
I'm probably still going to draw, I'm abit of a busy body after all so I can't do nothing all the time. Plus it's how I make the majority of my money, and I kinda need that. xox
So, I guess I'm back? I'm just exhausted.
