Based on advice I'm receiving from several corners and from observation of other Patreon-based authors, I am considering implementing a new feature -a new reward, really- for Patrons. This reward will consist of votes in Patron-guided content.
All tiers will receive the same number of votes, I want to keep things fair.
Essentially, what this means, is that certain stories would end each chapter with options being put to the Patrons, much like a Choose Your Own Adventures book from the good old days. Whichever option gets the highest number of votes, is what happens during the next chapter.
This is, essentially, a more limited for of the eponymous quests on Questionable Questing.
These stories, due to their shorter length of chapter -probably about 4k per chapter, hard to go beyond that before another potential choice comes up- would likely be updated around twice a month.
One week to write a chapter, one week for votes, one week to write the next chapter, one week for votes, rinse and repeat.
The first story idea for this, since I'm testing the concept at the moment and want something relatively contained world-wise, would be Baldur's Gate 3. The title would be The Riddle of Steel.
So, the first poll is this: What start would people want?
Make sure to pick one story start, and either Yes or No on the Gacha thought.
All the usual kinks would apply, of course.

Note: This story would become world-hopping eventually, if people wanted it to continue past BG3 content.
