Thanks to...unfortunate real life events, namely that Embracing the Stereotypes was based in no small part on a co-op campaign I was running with someone else, whom I have since had a falling out with, Embracing is currently on hiatus for an indeterminate amount of time.
Rest assured I intend to finish it, I love the story and Sylvanas, but I...cannot work on it right now.
That being said, I want to keep Patreon Guided stories a thing, and Embracing was a kind of...stress-release story for me. One that I could have fun with, rather than being super serious with like my other stories.
So, I have a few scenarios that we can make use of. Almost all of them based around a similar concept, involving a SI/Isekai Sesshomaru from Inuyasha.
Scenario One: Inuyasha/Ranma/KPOP Demon Hunters world. This would probably a straight story, no extra gimicks, or a Waifu Catalogue story. Chaos Gacha is fun, but its a pain in the ass to plan around, because I never know what I'll draw. Which is fun in some cases, less so in others. Further poll to be held if it would be WC or not.
Scenario Two: Waifu Catalogue Story, starting in the same FFX/XIII fusion world of the deceased It's Good To Be The King story I tried out last year. This time, without the Couple's Co-Op bit, because that is just a pain to try and work out.
Scenario Three: Waifu Catalogue Story, further poll to be held on what world to start in.
Scenario Four: Waifu Catalogue Story, starting in a world to be determined, featuring a Walk-In Sesshomaru. What that means, mechanically, is it's Sesshomaru himself that is the MC of the story, not someone 'possessing' him, as it were. Not an isekai like Eagle or Crown, but the actual man himself. This option could include visiting the worlds from Scenarios One and Two.
This story will not delay the arrival of Echoes In Eternity, as that will still be replacing Nothing Is True when that story is completed.
I just need a story that I can play with, a little stress relief, you know?
